A vertical strip of color more than a meter and a half tall: at the top a full, bright red, then pink, orange, ocher, and at the bottom the greens. Above, patches of light blue, drops and prints.

It is seen from top to bottom, like a memory settling. Each color seems to hold another beneath it. Tall and slender, it is made for a narrow wall, a passageway, the side of a piece of furniture.

Acrylic on canvas, 50.0 × 152.0 cm / 19.7 × 59.8 in. Support: unstretched canvas. One-of-a-kind artwork painted by hand by Genziana Pompei, signed on the back.

You receive the painted canvas, not mounted on a stretcher: it arrives rolled in a rigid tube, together with the certificate of authenticity. In the room image the artwork appears already stretched and framed: the stretcher and the frame are not included in the shipment.

The two images serve different purposes. The main image shows the whole artwork, just as it is: the entire painted surface, flat and unstretched. This is what you receive. The room image instead shows how it will look once stretched: a margin at the edges will naturally fold around the stretcher frame and will no longer be visible from the front. You can have it stretched and framed as you prefer.

Shipped rolled in a rigid tube, always insured and tracked.
