Certificate

Certificate of authenticity

The original paintings and the limited-edition fine art prints leave the studio with a certificate of authenticity: a document signed and dry-stamped by Genziana, which attests to the artwork’s provenance and creation. The open-edition prints do not come with a certificate.

The certificate states the title of the artwork, the technique and the size, together with a real signature, in ink, not reproduced. For original paintings it also shows the support, the artwork’s unique code, and the date and place. For fine art prints it also shows the copy number within the edition, the proportion and surface area of the sheet, and the technical specifications of the paper used. The document is sealed with a dry stamp bearing the “gp” mark, overlapping the signature.

Keep it together with the artwork: it is the guarantee of its authenticity over time, also useful for insurance or a future resale.
