The artwork
It is painted with palette knife and brush in thick layers: the earth and the rock can be read in the relief. The title points to what comes next: beyond the hills, beyond the gaze. A wide landscape, for a wall that needs room to breathe.
What’s included
You receive the painted canvas, not mounted on a stretcher: it arrives rolled in a rigid tube, together with the certificate of authenticity. In the room image the artwork appears already stretched and framed: the stretcher and the frame are not included in the shipment.
The two images serve different purposes. The main image shows the whole artwork, just as it is: the entire painted surface, flat and unstretched. This is what you receive. The room image instead shows how it will look once stretched: a margin at the edges will naturally fold around the stretcher frame and will no longer be visible from the front. You can have it stretched and framed as you prefer.
