Barocco pop is a swivel armchair turned into an artwork: its new frame has been covered by hand by Genziana with a patchwork of fine fabrics, chosen and matched one by one, the way colors are on a canvas.
At the front the seat is an explosion of color with pop and floral patterns; the backrest is divided between a side in teal-blue velvet, a central panel that recalls an abstract painting and a damask shoulder with golden thread.
Behind, a side in bright fuchsia velvet and a large baroque damask panel in black and white, with scrolls, a vertical ochre-yellow insert and an edge with optical geometric accents.
The seat rotates 360° on a central base in matte black metal. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, made in the studio in Colle di Val d’Elsa: the patchwork is composed by hand, without patterns, so no other armchair is exactly the same.
